Our Story

I’m Dave Brown. Over 40 years ago, I started out as a service tech in the fireplace and grill business, eventually working up to district manager. In 2011, my wife Karen and I opened Gas Logs Express to give our community the hands-on, honest service they deserve.

Karen and I have been married for 40 years. On top of her 32-year career in healthcare, she’s the heart of our business. Together, we have four kids and eighteen grandkids we love spoiling.

We’re proud to be truly family-owned and operated. Our son Michael gave four years of service to the Army and spent eight years building this business with us. Today, Chris and Kim help keep things running smoothly. So when you reach out to Gas Logs Express, you're always dealing with family.

Meet the Family Behind the Fire

David Brown

OWNER · 40+ YEARS
Accounting and part-time sales. You’ll usually find Dave in the store, ready to give you a straight answer on anything fireplace or gas-log.
Kim Brown

SHOWROOM MANAGER · 12 YEARS
Kim runs the showroom and helps with sales, installations, and deliveries. She’ll walk you through every option on the floor. Married with six children.
Chris Brown

INSTALLATIONS & SERVICE · 20 YEARS
NFI Certified in Gas Hearth Systems. Chris handles gas log and gas grill installations, deliveries, and service.
